128$a Form of Composition

Two characters long. (Optional and repeatable)

128$b Instruments or Voices for Ensembles

Subfields $b and $c use the same codes. Each subfield is either two or four characters long and is repeatable. The first two characters indicate the type of instrument or voice specified. The third and fourth are decimal digits that specify the number of the particular instruments or voices. When the number is less than ten, the third position contains a zero. If the number is not known, the subfield will be only two characters long. (Optional and not repeatable)

128$c Instruments or Voices for Soloists

Subfields $b and $c use the same codes. Each subfield is either two or four characters long and is repeatable. The first two characters indicate the type of instrument or voice specified.
